Copper Slip Compound is a specialised lubricant for pipe threaded connections.

The compound overcomes galling on assembly and reduces dismantling torque. It is suitable for use up to 1100°C and will protect against seizure due to corrosion and chemical attack. This product is lead free.

Suitable applications include pipe fitting and valves in chemical and petrochemical industry, gas refinery and oil drilling equipment.

Copper Slip has also found limited use in anti-friction and plain bearings specifically in kiln car lubrication.
