Castrol Syntilo 24

Syntilo 24 is a grinding coolant which represents an important breakthrough in grinding coolant technology - especially with regard to the health and safety of the operator and the preservation of the environment. Free from all substances known or, suspected of causing health or environmental problems, Castrol Syntilo 24 contains no mineral oil and furthermore, will not emulsify any mineral oil picked up in the coolant system. It is also sodium nitrite free.

This new safety product is completely soluble in both hard and soft water. The resultant solution possesses exceptional anticorrosion characteristics, so much so that it is used as a rust preventive in water baths for testing equipment under pressure.

The natural low foaming property of Castrol Syntilo 24 makes it ideal for all forms of grinding, including segment grinding operations. In fact, Castrol Syntilo 24 is recommended for all classes of grinding where cooling is the main task.

Castrol Syntilo 24 can also be used in certain instances for light general machining where cooling is more important than lubrication.

Castrol Syntilo 24 is recommended for use with ferrous metals and high nickel and titanium alloys. It is not recommended for aluminium and aluminium alloys.
