Castrol Syntilo XPS

Castrol Syntilo XPS is a high performance, long life, fully synthetic metalworking fluid meeting Ford specifications.

Castrol Syntilo XPS has been developed to maximise production efficiency by allowing higher machining speeds and feed rates, particularly with difficult to machine stainless and heat resistant alloys.

Castrol Syntilo XPS gives excellent performance in heavy duty machining operations, allowing it to replace neat oils in several Applications, without compromising surface finish or tool life. Syntilo XPS is operator friendly, having a pleasant odour, is non-irritant and has no defatting action on the skin. It is also free from chlorine, phenols and nitrites.

An oil-free synthetic product with superior lubricating and cooling properties, resistant to foaming, even in soft water, and totally rejects mineral oil, allowing effective skimming of any separated tramp oil.

• Extremely long sump life, In consequence fluid maintenance is reduced as no biocide addition is required. Additionally there is greater machine availability and disposal costs are reduced as a result of the smaller volume of effluent generated.

• Give the dual benefits of improved cooling performance and low coolant losses through drag-out. Weekly top-up rates for Syntilo XPS are typically less than half those for conventional soluble oils. In addition to reducing coolant consumption this also reduces the need for washing components after machining and improves operators working conditions.
