Texaco Miltex EP Grease

Miltex EP 1X and Miltex EP 2 are multipurpose, extreme pressure lithium soap greases containing an ISO 320 base oil blend and a specially formulated additive system.

Product Application

Miltex EP greases are suitable for use in heavy duty industrial equipment such as those found in steel mills, operating under adverse conditions such as high temperature, heavy and continuous shock loading, high speeds, and where contamination with water exists. Miltex EP greases can be used both in centralized grease systems and in manual greasing applications.

Product Description and Features

Miltex EP greases contain oil soluble extreme pressure (EP) additives, oxidation and corrosion inhibitors.  They are very shear stable, retain their original consistency with working, protect against rust and resist water washing.  These products are noncorrosive to non-ferrous bearing metals as well as steel.  They have good high temperature stability and can be used in continuous service up to 250'F and for short periods up to 350'F.
