Vultrex MPG EP1 and EP2

VULTREX™ multi-purpose greases (MPGs), for on- or off-road surface mining operations, deliver long service life and equipment protection for a wide range of temperatures, environmental conditions and equipment types.

VULTREX MPGs are designed for heavy duty bearing and gear applications, as well as sliding surfaces moving at low-to-moderate speeds. Both greases meet the P&H 472 multi-purpose grease specification.

• VULTREX MPG EP1 is intended for use with centralized greasing systems or where higher grease mobility is required. Operating temperature range is -25°C to 160°C (-13°F to 320°F)
• VULTREX MPG EP2 is similar to EP1, but has a thicker consistency. Its operating temperature range is -20°C  to 160°C (-4°F to 320°F)

Petro-Canada’s Vultrex MPG, G-123 and G-124 family of greases are premium performance, high dropping point, extreme pressure (EP), aluminum complex greases designed for a wide variety of heavy duty applications. The Vultrex MPG, G-123 and G-124 grease family consists of five different products formulated to meet a wide range of temperature conditions, load carrying capabilities and pumpability requirements.

The aluminum complex thickener provides excellent resistance to water wash-off, while high oil viscosities and performance additives provide excellent film strength and metal protection. The Vultrex MPG, G-123 and
G-124 family of greases are recommended for heavy duty applications, such as:
