Combat Red Grease

Combat Red Grease, a premium high performance lithium grease based on special solvent refined mineral oil thickened with a lithium – complex soap.

Combat Red is specially formulated to provide excellent high temperature lubrication performance. It possesses special EP (Extreme Pressure) load carrying properties and contains special additives to enhance resistance to Oxidation, Corrosion and Wear.

Combat Red Grease is designed to meet Timken (Europe) requirements for any passenger car or commercial vehicle bearings. It has significantly much longer life than any conventional lithium soap grease especially when used at temperatures around 120°C.

The term 'Lithium Grease' can be slightly misleading as the lithium content is actually the thickener used to thicken the oil to make it a grease as opposed to an oil. The formulation of a lithium grease includes a mineral or synthetic base oil, combined with a lithium thickener, and other additives, to suit special applications.

The use of a lithium thickener assists in increasing the range of operating stability, and the ability of a lithium grease to cope, for example, with movement from conditions of Low Temperature to High Temperature is outstanding.
