Ralube 940 CF Railway Engine Oil

RALUBE 940 CF is an SAE 20W-40, 9 TBN railway diesel engine oil designed to address the EPA fuel and emission standards for 2011 and is suitable for use with current and late model EMD and GE units operating on low- and ultra-low sulphur diesel fuels.
RALUBE 940 CF is designed to address emerging fuel and emission standards in late model engines in a wide range of railroad, inland marine, and stationary engine applications.

RALUBE 940 CF has reduced ash content relative to traditional 13- and 17- TBN Railway Engine Oils.
While RALUBE 940 CF has a lower starting TBN, field data has demonstrated that its TBN retention (i.e. rate of TBN depletion) is superior to products having higher starting TBN values. Furthermore, RALUBE 940 CF will provide service life on par with other conventional railway engine oils in engines operating with low and ultra-low sulphur diesel fuels.
